This archive dress was kept in a vault for 25 years and it’s literally a ‘sleeping beauty with over 100,000 black and brass beads and sequins which took over 500 hours to hand embroider.
Nicole Kidman hit the flower-filled steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in an iconic flamenco-inspired couture gown of Balenciaga’s spring 1951 collection. The recreation involved an astonishing 800 hours of hand embroidery, features a silk satin bustier worn over a long flared skirt in black, decorated with meticulous hand-frayed organza embroidery to recall feathers.
Ariana Grande looked angelic in sparkling corset gown by Loewe on Met Gala 2024 red carpet. The ethereal dress featured a structured-corset top with mosaic-like detailing and flowing into an airy pleated skirt of varying colors.
